Today, I watched my turtle trying over and over to pull himself onto his island the hard way, neglecting the stairs right next to him. After a while he noticed me staring and proceeded to swim around his tank like nothing had happened. I'm now convinced he is secretly training to become a teenage mutant ninja turtle.
